I know what it feels like to lose yourself.
After 22 years in the police, I'd learned to be strong. To push through. To look after everyone else. But when my marriage ended and the financial pressure hit, I realised I'd abandoned myself completely. I felt invisible. I was punishing my body through endless workouts, and getting mad when I didn't see changes. I grew up in the 90s — when skinny was in and fad diets were everywhere. I tried them all. I was smiling through the chaos while falling apart inside, losing who I once was.
But I knew something had to change. Not a quick fix, or a severe diet, or a 12-week shred. I needed to rebuild from the inside out — to find who I was again. And that's what took me from surviving to actually living again.
Now I help women do the same. The Dandelion Effect isn't a programme. It's permission. Permission to finally choose yourself. It's a route to becoming a version of yourself you're proud of — one who shows up to life with her head held high.
